Otter Pops! Get Your Otter Pops!

Middle-schoolers and best friends, Kaelyn and Isabel, dedicated their final week of summer break to selling Otter Pops Freezer Pops at their homemade stand in their Belgrade neighborhood.

Their stand featured a hand-lettered sign that read, “Donate to the Cancer Patient Care Fund” which garnered honks and positive waves from passersby and enthusiastic Otter Pop customers. The pair worked hard during the week of unusually hot weather which, they say, helped increase their Otter Pops sales.

Kaelyn and Isabel were beaming with pride as they presented their hard-earned check in the amount of nearly $200 to Bozeman Health Foundation for Bozeman Health Cancer Patients.

The Bozeman Health Foundation Cancer Patient Care Fund helps remove barriers to care for patients in-need providing gas cards, transportation vouchers, durable medical equipment, nutritional items and medical supplies not covered by insurance or other programs but important to care, and treatment.

“It feels great to give back,” Kaelyn said. Isabel added, “Doing this made us feel motivated to do more. People were really generous and happy to support an important cause that impacts pretty much everyone.”
