A Message from our Board Chair

Cory Pulfrey DirectorOn behalf of the Bozeman Health Foundation Board, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the 25th Annual Hospitality Gala—themed “Enchanted Garden”—a truly unforgettable evening. We are proud to share that the gala’s proceeds will directly support psychiatric services at Bozeman Health, helping provide essential care to individuals and families in our region. This includes funding to help offset construction, staffing, and programming start-up costs for the region’s first and only adult inpatient psychiatric unit. This critical expansion of services—many of which are not reimbursed by insurance or government programs—are essential to meeting the growing mental health needs of our region. Scheduled for completion this fall, the 14-bed unit includes therapeutic and activity spaces and is expected to care for approximately 500 patients annually.

The success of this event isn’t just a reflection of our hardworking Foundation team and volunteers, but of the trust and dedication of the community support that surrounds us and of Bozeman Health serves. We are deeply grateful to every sponsor, donor, volunteer and guest who helped make the 25th Annual Hospitality Gala such a resounding success.

As we look ahead to the summer, we carry forward the optimism and determination inspired by the remarkable momentum of the Gala. The season brings not only warmer days and brighter skies, but also the promise of meaningful progress in our mission to improve mental health care in our region. With construction advancing on the new inpatient psychiatric unit and continued community engagement and support, we are witnessing real, tangible change take root. Together, we are building a future where hope is more accessible, care is more comprehensive, and every individual has the opportunity to heal and thrive.

With appreciation and admiration,
Cory Pulfrey
